In this test the anticipated endothermal melting peak was recorded with an onset-Temperature of 219.52°C. A further endothermal peak, which would indicate the boiling point, was not detected. Instead of this the thermogram showed a broad endothermic drift in the baseline in the temperature range from 315 -366 °C. During the measurement the evolution of dark smoke gas was observed. The latter may be an indication of an endothermal decomposition.
