Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

The skin sensitising effects of 1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, di-C6 -10 -alkyl esters was not investigated. The structurally related phthalate 1,2 -Benzenedicarboxylic, di-C8 -10 -alkyl esters was evaluated in animal experiments as well as the undecyl phthalate in a human repeat insult patch test (HRIP) with the undiluted substances. No skin sensitisation was observed. Therefore it is expected that the test substance is also not skin sensitising.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
Skin sensitisation: Not sensitising (based on read-across)

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no study available

Justification for classification or non-classification

No evidence of skin sensitisation in animal tests as well as a human volunteer HRPIT study.
