The test substance is a colourless liquid with a pH of 7.4. A boiling point of 33-33.5°C at 760 mm Hg was determined using the distillation method according to OECD Guideline 103. Density of 1.38 at 20°C, was measured using an oscillating densitimeter. The vapour pressure, 60.44 kPa (453.3 Torr) at 20°C, was determined using the static method. The partition coefficient, Log Kow, 2.3 at 30°C, was determined using the HPLC method according to OECD Guideline 117. Water solubility of 0.7633 g/L at 25°C, was determined with the flask method, similar to OECD Guideline 105. Surface tension, 63.9 Nm/ at 20°C, was determined using a plate method according to OECD Guideline 115.Viscosity, measured using the oscillating piston viscometer, was 0.331 CP at 40.5°C and 0.396 CP at 21.3°C.No flash point was observed at or below the boiling point of 33°C in a closed cup procedure following method ASTM D-56. The test substance was not flammable in a flammability test following ASTM E681, ASTM D-56, and ASHRAE Standard 34. The substance has no groups associated with explosive properties and is not oxidising based on chemical structure.
