Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Exposure by inhalation:
Remove from exposure area to fresh air immediately. Perform artificial respiration if necessary. Keep person warm and at rest. Treat symptomatically and supportively. Get medical attention immediately.
Exposure by skin contact
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash with soap or mild detergent and large amounts of water until no evidence of chemical remains (at least 15-20 minutes). Get medical attention immediately.
Exposure by eye contact:
Wash eyes immediately with large amounts of water or normal saline, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids, until no evidence of chemical remains (at least 15-20 minutes). Get medical attention immediately.
Exposure by ingestion:
If vomiting occurs, keep head lower than hips to help prevent aspiration. Treat symptomatically and supportively. Get medical attention if needed.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents include:
Water spray, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Personal protective equipment:
Firefighters should be equipped with self-contained breathing apparatus and full fire fighting protective clothing for fighting chemical fires.
The substance doesn’t react with water.
Accidental release measures
Evacuate personnel from immediate vicinity.
Wear eye protection (goggles), chemical resistant gloves, protective clothing (eg an impervious apron) and a dust mask conforming to standard EN 149 FFP1 while absorbing spillages. Avoid release to drains. Absorb spillages with a suitable inert material (eg sand or soil). Transfer the spillage to waste containers labeled in the same way as the original containers. Clean the spillage area with water and detergent
Handling and storage
Packaging:
The packaging is combined inner and outer packaging.
The inner packaging is plastic bags. The outer packaging is fibreboard box.
