DESCRIPTION OF FIRST AID MEASURES
- General advice
If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible).
Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves.
Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance
- Protection of first-aiders
First Aid responders should pay attention to self-protection, and use the recommended personal protective equipment when the potential for exposure exists.
- If inhaled
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTRE or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
- In case of skin contact
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with plenty of soap and water.
If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
- In case of eye contact
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
- If swallowed
Call a physician or poison control centre immediately. Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting without advice from poison control center. If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach content doesn't get into the lungs. Do not use mouth-to-mouth method if victim ingested the substance.
Induce artificial respiration with the aid of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way valve or other proper respiratory medical device.
MOST IMPORTANT SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS, BOTH ACUTE AND DELAYED
Severe eye irritation. Symptoms may include stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, and blurred vision. May cause respiratory irritation. Skin irritation.
May cause redness and pain.
INDICATION OF ANY IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION AND SPECIAL TREATMENT NEEDED
Provide general supportive measures and treat symptomatically. Keep victim warm. Keep victim under observation. Symptoms may be delayed.
Fire-fighting measures
- Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Water fog. Foam. Dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water. Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.

Specific hazards during firefighting: During fire, gases hazardous to health may be formed.
Hazardous combustion products: Carbon oxides, Nitrogen oxides (NOx)

Special protective equipmentfor firefighters: Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
Specific extinguishing methods: Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved materials.

- Local or national regulations may apply to releases and disposal of this material, as well as those materials and items employed in the cleanup of releases. You will need to determine which regulations are applicable.

- Do not get on skin or clothing.
- Do not swallow.
- Do not get in eyes.
- Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice, based on the results of the workplace exposure assessment.

- Keep away from water.
- Protect from moisture.
- Take care to prevent spills, waste and minimize release to the environment.
Hygiene measures: Ensure that eye flushing systems and safety showers are located close to the working place. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.

- Change gloves often! For special applications, we recommend clarifying the resistance to chemicals of the aforementioned protective gloves with the glove manufacturer.
- Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.

- Select appropriate protective clothing based on chemical resistance data and an assessment of the local exposure potential.
- Skin contact must be avoided by using impervious protective clothing (gloves, aprons, boots, etc).
