Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove subject to fresh air. Seek medical aid if irritation
persists or if breathing becomes difficult.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately under running water for fifteen minutes.
If redness or irritation occurs, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water for fifteen minutes. If skin
irritation occurs, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If ingested, seek medical assistance.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: CO2-powder, water or sand
Product arising from burning: Thermal decomposition may produce oxides of carbon,
nitrogen, and sulfur.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: N/A
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Spills should be swept up or shoveled up with non-sparkling
tools and collected for disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling: Keep away from day-light.
Handle in yellow rooms. Yellow lamp: National FLR40S-Y-F/M
500nm and shorter lights are cut.
Protective gloves: butyl rubber, PVC or neoprene.
Eye protection: safety glasses or chemical splash goggles.
Storage: Store in a refigerator between 0 and 15°C.
Tightly cap and seal as substance is hygroscopic.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is packed in a 1000 l ECO-bulk container. The
container material is Polyethylene (PE). Material is stored
in a dark room at temperatures between 0 - 15°C.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: Photo-reactieve (decomposes), handle in yellow rooms
Hygroscopic
Chemical reaction with water: The substance is a water-soluble photoresist, so there is no
reaction to be expected.
Dust explosion: The substance is only available and used as an aqueous
solution. Dried material is very light sensitive and forms
an insoluble film. Exploding due to dust formation is very
unlikely. Burning of the film gives only H2O and CO2.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not relevant.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: No.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: No.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: [641] Removal by controlled discharge to a waste water
treatment plant.
The waste water will be transferred from an on-site
biological water treatment facility to the municipal
treatment facility.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable as the substance does not become available to
the public at large.
