Additional information

The registration item has very low water solubility. Hence, only very little amounts, if any, will enter the wastewater. Furthermore, in the industries in which the registration item is used (e.g. automotive), several measures are in place that will prevent the material from being released to the sewage. For example, over spray is collected in oil separators or flocculated in retaining systems. Alternatively, the formulation reminders are cured and the remainders are incinerated. By these procedures the user of the registration item avoids emissions to wastewater.

As a consequence, it is very unlikely that the registration item reaches the sewage treatment plant. Therefore, there is no indirect exposure of the soil compartment via sewage sludge to be expected. Furthermore, the registration item is not applied in uses resulting in direct exposure to soil.

Taking this information into account, studies on terrestrial organisms are not deemed necessary due to the lack of exposure of the soil.
