First-aid measures

General advice:
Remove contaminated clothing.

If inhaled:
Keep patient calm, remove to fresh air, seek medical attention. Immediately inhale corticosteroid dose aerosol.

On skin contact:
Immediately wash thoroughly with plenty of water, apply sterile dressings, consult a skin specialist.

On contact with eyes:
Immediately wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open, consult an eye specialist.

On ingestion:
Immediately rinse mouth and then drink 200-300 ml of water, seek medical attention.

Treatment: Treat according to symptoms (decontamination, vital functions), no known specific antidote.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:
water spray, dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide
Specific hazards:
carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides
Explosive when dry.
Special protective equipment:
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:
Avoid inhalation. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing.

Environmental precautions:
Do not discharge into drains/surface waters/groundwater.

Methods for cleaning up or taking up:
Pick up with suitable absorbent material (e.g. sand, sawdust, general-purpose binder, kieselgur).
Place into appropriately labeled waste containers. Rinse with plenty of water.

Additional information: Repack only into corrosion resistant containers.

Handling and storage

Handling
Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Handle and open container with care. Avoid vapor formation. Protect against heat. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Provide good ventilation of working area (local
exhaust ventilation if necessary).

Protection against fire and explosion:
Prevent drying-out. Avoid all sources of ignition: heat, sparks, open flame.

Storage
Segregate from flammable substances.
