Additional information

A study was performed according to OECD 203 and GLP (CIBA-GEIGY Ltd. 1993a). Due to the low solubility of the test item an emulsifier was used. The tested concentrations were 10, 18, 32, 58 and 100 mg/L (measured concentrations: 4.1, 7.0, 11.7, 22.2 and 39.1 mg/L, respectively). The LC0 and LC100 are both higher than 100 mg/L nominal. No mortality or visible abnormalities were observed during the test period of 96 hours. The LC50 (96h) was determined to be higher than 100 mg/L (nominal) and the NOEC was found to be at least 100 mg/L (nominal). Therefore, no acute toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.
