Description of key information

The key study was an acute fish toxicity assay of the effects of Catalyst 21513 upon Brachydanio rerio, conducted in accordance with OECD Guideline 203 by the Institut Fresenius in 1996; the study was compliant with GLP. A limit test was conducted with the water extract from 10 g test substance in 1000 mL of drinking water, which was identified as the LC0. The LC50 after 48 h and 96 h was not determined, since the eluate exhibited no toxic effect (mortality).
