Administrative data
First-aid measures
seek medical attention
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected area with
soap and water
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water, keep patient still and obtain
immediate medical attention
Fire-fighting measures
apparatus. Remove small containers from exposure if without
risk. Wet container with water to keep cool. Extinguish
fire with water spray, foam or carbon dioxide depending on
the nature of other combustibles. Combustion products will
include some sulphur oxides and soot.
Accidental release measures
sand or earth, transfer to drums, and keep safe for
disposal. Subsequently wash affected area with detergent
and water. Dispose of waste at a suitable incineration site
Handling and storage
wear protective gloves, boots, overalls and eye protection.
Wash thoroughly immediately after handling or if
contaminated. Do not eat, drink or smoke when handling.
Storage: Keep in tightly closed containers in a secure designated
space away from heat and oxidising materials
