Administrative data
First-aid measures
After inhalation: Provide fresh air.
After contact with the skin: Immediately rinse with plenty of soap and water. Seek medical advice in case of continuous irritation.
After contact with the eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical advice in case of continuous irritation.
After swallowing: Seek medical advice and clearly identify substance.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: water jet
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases: Hazardous combustion products: nitrous gases.
Special protective equipment for fire fighting: Use respiratory protection independent of recirculated air.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Prevent material from entering sewers or surface waters. Cover any spilled material in accordance with regulations to prevent dispersal by wind. Dispose of in prescribed marked containers.
Methods for cleaning up: Absorb with dust-binding medium and dispose of according to local/state/federal regulations. Avoid formation of dust and dust deposition.
Further information: Eliminate all sources of ignition.
Handling and storage
Handling: Precautions for safe handling: Avoid dust formation.
Precautions against fire and explosion: Danger of dust explosion: Do not stir up dust; remove dust after wetting. Take precautionary measures against dust explosion. Avoid dust deposit, remove dust regularly. The product is a combustible organic dust and under special conditions dust explosion is possible (German dust explosion class 2, KSt 200 - 300 bar m s-1). These special conditions are sufficient oxygen and dust concentration, sufficient ignition energy and temperature.
Storage:
Advice for storage of incompatible materials: none known.
Further information for storage: Keep container tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
General protection and hygiene measures: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not breathe dust. Work areas where the substance is handled must, where possible, be separated from other areas and labelled.
Skin protection: full protective suit
Eye protection: tight fitting protective goggles
Respiratory protection: Respiratory protection required. fine dust mask P2 , gas mask filter ABEK-ST .
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid: Keep away from incompatible substances.
Materials to avoid: strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: If stored and handled in accordance with standard industrial practices and local regulations where applicable: none known.
Disposal considerations
Recommendation: Dispose of according to regulations by incineration in a special waste incinerator. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Uncleaned packaging
Recommendation: Completely discharge containers (no tear drops, no powder rest, scraped carefully). Containers may be recycled or re-used. Observe local/state/federal regulations. Uncleaned packaging should be treated with the same precautions as the material.
