Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Isolate spillage and remove personnel from the affected

area. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, goggles

and a dust mask. Avoid dust formation. Damp down powder

spill with water. Absorb solution with a suitable inert

material. Transfer to suitably labelled containers and

dispose of at a suitable landfill site or by incineration

in accordance with local regulations. Wash spill site with

detergent and water (avoid discharge to watercourses).

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals. Protective clothing, gloves and goggles (with

side shields) should be used. A suitable dust mask,

conforming to standard prEN 140 (equivalent to BS6016, type

I), should be worn.
