Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove the affected person to fresh air, keep at rest in
half upright position and loosen clothing if necessary. If
symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate with eye wash solution or clean water holding the
eye lids apart for at least 15 minutes. If sysmptoms
persist, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash skin immediately with soap and water. If symptoms
persist, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water, give water or milk to
drink. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water fog, foam, carbon dioxide or dry chemical powder. Do
not use water jet.
Product arising from burning: Irritating and toxic fumes, including oxides of nitrogen and
carbon.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for large fires.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear PPE as for handling. Sweep up into suitable containers
for disposal in accordance with local waste regulations. Do
not allow to enter drains or water courses. In case of
contamination contact the Environment Agency or appropriate
regulatory body without delay.
Handling and storage
Handling: Use PVC gloves, safety glasses or safety goggles and
respiratory protection fitted with FFP2 (EN 149:2001) or
equivalent cartridge. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Reseal containers immediately after use. Provide adequate
ventilation.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Use sealed containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is packaged in 25kg multi-ply paper sacks.
