Description of key information

The adsorption of DVS005u was determined to be Koc > 4.27 x 10E+5, logKoc > 5.63 at 40ºC according to a study performed in line with GLP and to standardised guidelines OECD 121 and EU Method C.19.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
427 000

Additional information

The key study (Walker and White, 2010) was conducted in line with GLP and standardised guidelines with a sufficient level of detail to assess the quality of the study. The absorption was determined using HPLC screening method. The absorption coefficient Koc was determined to be > 4.27 x 105 with logKoc > 5.63 at 40ºC. This is an indication that the substance is likely to adhere to soil particles in the environment. The study was performed to a good standard and was assigned a reliability score of 1 using the principles for assessing data quality as set out in Klimisch (1997).
