To achieve the exposure concentrations, solvent Tween 80 was used. All concentrations tested were at or above the solubility limit of the pure test substance. For the test Brachydanio rerio (new name: Danio rerio) was used. The following nominal concentrations have been applied: 1.0, 1.5, 2.2, 3.3, 5.0 mg/L. At 5 and 3.3 mg/L, 100 % mortality was observed at any time point. The EC50 (96h) was at 2.2 mg/L using Tween 80 as solubilizer. All validity criteria were met. The test material does not possess acute toxic potential to fish up to the limit of solubility in water. The LC50 (96h) of the test material with solubilizer was 2.2 mg/L, which is clearly above the limit of water solubility.
