Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Fresh air; if necessary seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of water and soap
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice or poisson information center, if
possible show label.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: All extingushing agent are suitable.
Product arising from burning: CO, CO2, NOx, SO2, HCN
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self-contained respirator
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: If accidentally spilled take up mechanically with e.g.
dustpan, broom, industrial vacuum cleaner, recycle and
discharge. During the taking up follow the precautions,
disribed in 2.3.1.
Handling and storage
Handling: Usual precaution for handling chemical should be taken into
acount. All filling stations have to be exhausted; during
handling greater amounts of the dye wear gloves and dust
mask. Avoid inhalation of the substance; possiblity of
sensitation of the respiratory tract for some reactive dyes.
Storage: Store dry and only in closed packages. Remove product
residues from the packages. Store the liquid preparation
cool (0-25 °C).
