Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The substance is a non explosive liquid. Therefore, the substance is no subject to classification and labelling.
Executive summary:

The substance is a non explosive liquid. Therefore, the substance is no subject to classification and labelling.

Description of key information

The substance is a non explosive liquid.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

The molecular structure of the substance does not contain chemical groups associated with explosive properties. Thus it can be concluded that the substance has no explosive properties.

This is supported by a reliable study performed according to EU method A.14 (Hüls, 1991), where all included tests were negative.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to REGULATION (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP) Annex I, section 2.1.4.3, "A substance or mixture shall not be classified as explosive if:

(a) There are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule. Examples of groups which may indicate explosive properties are given in Table A6.1 in Appendix 6 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria;" rev. 6, 2015.

Because this applies to the submission substance, there are no requirements for classification with regard to explosiveness.
