Table 1 shows the determined volume of the pycnometer. The results of the test for the determination of the density of the test item are given in Table 2.

The individual measurements were obtained with a deviation of ≤ 0.01 g/cm3. According to the guideline, the density of the test item is given as the mean value.

Conclusions:
A pycnometer was used for the determination of the density and relative density of 1-(bis(2-(1,3-dimethylbutylideneamino) ethyl)amino)-3-phenoxypropan-2-ol.
The density of the test item at 20ºC was 0.981 g/cm3
The relative density was 0.981.

Description of key information

A pycnometer was used for the determination of the density and relative density of 1-(bis(2-(1,3-dimethylbutylideneamino) ethyl)amino)-3-phenoxypropan-2-ol.

The density of the test item at 20ºC was 0.981 g/cm3 (0.981  103 kg/m3).

The relative density was 0.981.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.981
