First-aid measures
Inhalation: If breathing is difficult, transport the victim outside for fresh air and maintain her in a position where she can comfortably breathe. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: call a poison center or doctor.
Skin contact: Wash immediately abundantly with water, remove clothes and shoes contaminated by the product. Wash clothes before re-use. Clean carefully before putting them back. In case of irritation, consult a doctor.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Call a poison center or doctor if you feel unwell.
Protection of rescuers : see chapter 8
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing media : pulverized water, foam, powder, carbone dioxide
Inappropriate extinguishing media: none
Particular dangers, products of combustion: carbone oxides (COx)
Protection against fire : adapted protective equipment and autonomous respiratory system
Accidental release measures
Personal protection : personal protective equipment, avoid dust formation, avoid breathing vapors, keep a adapted ventilation, keep away from any source of ignition,
Emergency procedures : Take away any source of inflammation, have a good ventilation, evacuate the high-risk area
Environmental precautions : Do not dispose to the sewer, nor in the natural environment
Cleaning procedures: Sweep and remove with a shovel.
Contain and collect the material spread with an antistatic vacuum cleaner or with a wet brush and place in a container for the elimination according to the local regulations
Handling and storage
Handling :
Appropriate technical measures: Avoid the contact with the skin and the eyes. Avoid the formation of dusts and sprays. Plan adequate ventilation to places where the dust forms. Keep away from any flame or source of sparks. Take measures to avoid the accumulation of electrostatic charges.
Recommendations against the fires and the explosions: Avoid any contact with source of ignition
Advises for industrial hygiene:
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
- Hands wash himself after every use
- Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Storage :
Appropriate technical measures: keep in a fresh place, keep the package closed in a dry and well aerated place
Conditions of storage, Incompatibles materials, Packaging materials : not available

Exposure controls / personal protection
Occupational exposure value : 2 ppm (12mg/m3) (INRS)
Individual protective measures : Goggles, gloves, anti-static suit protection
Other protections: When the risk assessment shows that a respiratory protection is suited, use a total facial mask with cartridge with typical particles N100 (US) or of type P3 (EN 143).
Advises for industrial hygiene:
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
- Hands wash himself after handling the material
- Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity : not available
Chemical stability : stable under the normal conditions of use
Hazardous reactions : not available
Conditions to be avoided : Heat, Flames, sparks, extreme temperature, direct light sun
Incompatibility : Strong oxidants, strong reducing agents, chlorinated solvents
Hazardous decomposition products : COx
Disposal considerations
Send to approved processing center
Apply all the relevant local community regulation concerning the waste
