Additional information

Glycine, N-methyl-, N-coco acyl derivatives, sodium salts (CAS 61791-59-1) is characterized by a high water solubility of 42.19 g/L (20 °C, OECD 105). The log Koc is 0.87 at pH 4 and increases to 1.4 at pH 7 and 9 (QSAR, ChemProp v6.5), indicating that the potential for adsorption to particles in soil and sediment is low at environmentally relevant pH values in the range of 4 to 9. Hence, the substance is expected to be mobile in water at environmentally relevant pH ranges. Moreover, the substance is not expected to persist in the environment due to ready biodegradability.
