First-aid measures
Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure, keep warm and at rest.Obtain immediate medical attention if ill effects occur.Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing.IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water followed by soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.Contaminated clothing should be laundered before re-use.Eye contact: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.Ingestion: Provided the patient is conscious, wash out mouth with water. Never give liquids to an unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTRE/doctor if you feel unwell.
Fire-fighting measures
Not classed as flammableSuitable extinguishing media: water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture : If involved in a fire, it may emit noxious and toxic fumes.Advice for fire-fighters: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing must be worn in fire conditions.
Accidental release measures
Ensure suitable personal protection (including respiratory protection) during removal of spillages.Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be alerted to the appropriate regulatory body.Protect against dust. Clear up spillages.Transfer to a container for disposal.Wash the spillage area clean.Washings must be prevented from entering surface water drains
Handling and storage
Control dust formation.Avoid contact with skin and eyes.Avoid breathing dust/fume/vapours.Wash skin, hands thoroughly after handling.Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.Take precautionary measures against static discharges.Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities : Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from oxidising agents.
