Description of key information

LC50 96h Danio Rerio > 100 mg/l loading rate (concentration as loading rate before 96h stirring followed by filtration and this solution was inoculated with Danio Rerio. The geometric mean between the measured concentrations at t= 0h and at t=96h was 5.82 mg/l . This value confirms the low solubility of test item in the fish medium).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water fish

Fresh water fish
Effect concentration:
100 mg/L

Additional information

The acute lethal toxicity of Tetraphosphorus trisulphide to the Zebrafish Danio rerio was investigated according to test guideline OECD TG 203, under static exposure conditions over a period of 96 h. The result was LC50 96h Zebrafish Danio rerio > 100 mg/l loading rate (concentration as loading rate before 96h stirring followed by filtration and this solution was inoculated with Danio Rerio. The geometric mean between the measured concentrations at t= 0h and at t=96h was 5.82 mg/l . This value confirms the low solubility of test item in the fish medium).
