Conclusions:
The water solubility of Octanoic acid, compound with dicyclohexylamine (1:1) at 30 °C was determined to be 15.3 g/l.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of Octanoic acid, compound with dicyclohexylamine (1:1) at 30 °C was determined by the flask method similar to OECD Guideline 105.

A preliminary test using a simplified flask method with abbreviated equilibration times was performed to evaluate the magnitude of the water solubility of the test item. The water solubility was determined to be about 20 g/l.

Therefore the flask method was choosen for the main test.

In the main study, 50  g/L test item in water were used for the test. Three individual flasks were prepared and were set onto the shaking apparatus. After 24, 48 and 72 hours stirring and samples were taken and analysed for Total Organic Carbon.

The water solubility of Octanoic acid, compound with dicyclohexylamine (1:1) at 30 °C was determined to be 15.3 g/l.
