*The relative density D204 is the ratio between the measured density of the test substance at 20 °C and the density of water at 4 °C (= 0.99997 g/cm3). The relative density has no dimension.

Conclusions:
A relative density density value of 0.837, and a density value of 0.837 g/cm3 at 20 °C was determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol. It was not compliant with GLP.

Description of key information

Relative density: Diethoxy(methyl)silane: 0.837 at 20°C (oscillating densitimeter, EC Methos A.3)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.837

Additional information

A relative density value of 0.837 at 20°C was determined for the test substance according to EU Method A.3. This is supported by a predicted value of 0.90 g/cm³ at 20°C.
