The lowest measured aquatic toxicity value of 2,5 -di-tert-butylhydroquinone, the EC50 (72h) to aquatic algae is 0.038 mg/L. The substance is not classified as mutagenic, toxic to reproduction, but is possessing target organ toxicity after repeated exposure.
