Flammability at room temperature
The test Substance could be ignited. In contact with the flame, the test substance glowed, burned with a flame and turned black (original colour: off-white). After removal of the ignition Source, the flame extinguished immediately and no propagation of combustion was observed. Because the test Substance did not propagate Combustion along 200 mm within 4 minutes, no further testing was required and the test substance should be considered as not "highly flammable". Based on the result, v182675 has to be classified as Class 2 (brief ignition and rapid extinction).

Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Interpretation of results:
- not classified based on GHS criteria
- Conclusions:
- V182675 is not "highly flammable" according to the Criteria as described in the method A.10 of EEC-Directive 92/69 EEC. V182675 has to be classified as Class 2 (brief ignition and rapid extinction) according to the WD 2263.
- Executive summary:
The determination of the flammability of V182675 was performed in accordance with EEC Directive 92/69 EEC, A.10 "Flammability (solids)" (1992) and VDI 2263: "Test Methods for the Determination of the Safety Characteristic of Dusts"; May 1990.
V182675 was formed in a wedge-shaped pile with a length of 25 cm, a width of 2 cm and 1 cm in height. An attempt was made to ignite the test substance with the flame of a gas-burner. Flammability was tested at room temperature and at 100°C.
At room temperature The test substance could be ignited. In contact with the flame, the test substance glowed, burned with a flame and turned black (original colour: off-white). At 100°C The test substance could be ignited. In contact with the flame, the test substance glowed, burned with a flame and turned black. After removal of the ignition source, the flame extinguished immediately and no propagation of combustion was observed. The test substance should be considered as not "highly flammable" and classified as Class 2 (brief ignition and rapid extinction). No further testing was required.
Conclusion: V182675 is not "highly flammable" according to the Criteria as described in the method A.10 of EEC-Directive 92/69 EEC. W182675 has to be classified as Class 2 (brief ignition and rapid extinction) according to the WD 2263.
