Remarks on result:
other: Mean density value at 20°C is 0.8963 g/cm3. The standard deviation is ± 0.0001 g/cm3.

Measured density of the test substance at 20°C:

- measurement 1: 0.8963 g/cm3

- measurement 2: 0.8963 g/cm3

- measurement 3: 0.8963 g/cm3

- measurement 4: 0.8964 g/cm3

Mean value at 20°C is 0.8963 g/cm3. The standard deviation is ± 0.0001 g/cm3.

Conclusions:
The relative density of the test substance was determined according to EC Regulation No 440/2008, Guideline A.3, and according to OECD Guideline 109. The relative density of O,O-tert-butyl isopropyl monoperoxycarbonate, 75% in isododecane at 20 °C is 0.8963 (± 0.0001) g/cm3. Note that the organic peroxide cannot be handled in pure form. The density of the isododecane reported by the supplier is 0.74 g/cm3 @ 20 °C, which gives an estimation of the density of the substance of 0.95 g/cm3 @ 20 °C.
Executive summary:

The relative density of O,O-tert-butyl isopropyl monoperoxycarbonate, 75% in isododecane was determined according to EC Regulation No 440/2008, Guideline A.3 and according to OECD Guideline 109, and in accordance with European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R.7a, Endpoint specific guidance, May 2008 [3]. The relative density of O,O-tert-butyl isopropyl monoperoxycarbonate, CAS 2372 -21 -6, 75% in isododecane at 20 °C is 0.8963 (± 0.0001) g/cm3. Note that the organic peroxide cannot be handled in pure form. The density of the isododecane reported by the supplier is 0.74 g/cm3 @ 20 oC,

which gives an estimation of the density of the substance of 0.95 g/cm3 @ 20 oC.

Description of key information

The relative density of O,O-tert-butyl isopropyl monoperoxycarbonate, 75% in isododecane at 20°C is 0.8963 (± 0.0001). Note that the organic peroxide cannot be handled in pure form and this is the maximum marketed concentration.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
