In a static exposure test on Leuciscus idus over 96 hours, conducted by BASF AG (1988), following DIN 38412, part L15 at concentrations of 0, 5000 and 10000 mg/L (test substance not completely dissolved), a LC50 (96h) of >10000 mg/L was detected, indicating that the test substance has no toxic effects in the range of its water solubility.

This result is in line with the results of a OECD 29 test: The transformation/dissolution concentrations of the anorganic building blocks Cr and Sb at a loading rate of 100 mg/L arefar below of the acute ERVs
