Description of key information

The most sensitive species during acute exposure was the fish (1.09 mg/L EC50), followed by algae (ErC50 = 6.98 mg./L) and Daphnia (EC50 = 15.5 mg/L).

Three chronic aquatic toxicity studies are available. The 21 -day test on daphnia indicates the NOEC for growth is 3.55 mg/L. In a 14 -day fish study the NOEC for mortality was 0.147 mg/L and in a 28 -day study the EC10 for growth was 0.0868 mg/L.

Two additional studies are available: an earthworm and a seedling emergence and growth. The earthworm study indicated no effects at the highest dose, 1,000 mg/L. Smilarly the EC50 for corn and soybean emergence was >1,000 mg/kg dry soil while the NOECs for growth were 500 and 250 mg/L, respectively.
