Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The kinematic viscosity of the test substance was found to be 1,919 mm2/S at 40 C.
Executive summary:

The ASTM D 445 test method specifies a procedure for the determination of the kinematic viscosity, ν, both transparent and opaque by measuring the time for a volume of liquid to flow under gravity through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer. The dynamic viscosity, η, can be obtained by multiplying the kinematic viscosity, ν, by the density, ρ, of the liquid.
