Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to Annex VIII of the REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006), the study does not need to be conducted if, based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption (e.g. the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient).

Basic Yellow 094 has a low potential for adsorption, based on the low partition coefficient, i.e. below a cutoff value of log Pow = 3.

A default value, computed by the tool EUSES, is reported to be used in the chemical safety report (CSR).
