Additional information

The test performed on Acid Yellow 194 follows the OECD 203 gave a LC 50 > 100 mg/l.

Toxicity to aquatic invertebrates was investigated following the OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia Magna Acute Immobilisation Test).
Based on the test results, the tested substance showed some toxic effects on Daphnids and the EC50 (48 h) was set at 7.63 mg/l.

The inhibitory effects of Acid Yellow to the duckweed Lemna minor were investigated over a period of 7 days, based on the frond number and biomass (dry weight), following the guideline OECD 221. Based on the test results, the EC50 value was set at 196 mg/L and the NOEC value was set to 6.38 mg/l.
