Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Boiling point values of 97.6 and 97.9°C are reported in collections of reliable data which have been subject to peer review and in which the original data sources are traceable (DIPPR and Grasselli 1975). The results given in several other secondary sources, to which reliability could not be assigned, are in the range 98 - 100°C. The key study is a value from the Project 801 Database. Data included in the Project 801 Database are compiled and evaluated by the Design Institute for Physical Property Data (DIPPR) of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
