First-aid measures

Eye Contact: In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart. Subsequently consult an ophthalmologist.
Skin Contact: After contact with skin, wash with generous quantities of running water. Gently and thoroughly wash affected area with running water and nonabrasive soap. Cool water may be used. Cover the affected area with emollient. Seek medical attention. Wash any contaminated clothing prior to reusing.
Inhalation: Remove the victim from the source of exposure to fresh, uncontaminated air. If victim's breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Allow the victim to rinse his mouth and then to drink 2-4 cupfuls of water and seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Water,Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, alcohol or polymer foam.
Special fire fighting procedures: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes and full protective gear.
Unusual fire and explosion hazards/ decomposition of product:Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions

Accidental release measures

Steps to be taken if material is spilled or otherwise released into the environment - Wear Appropriate respirator, impervious boots and heavy rubber (or otherwise impervious) gloves. Scoop up solid material or absorb liquid material and place into appropriate container. Ventilate area and wash affected spill area after pickup is complete. Wash skin immediately with plenty of water. Place solid or absorbed material into containers and close for disposal.

Handling and storage

Avoid prolonged exposure.
Use caution when handling. Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid ingestion and inhalation.
Ensure adequate ventilation during use.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container closed when not in use.

Handle the substance under strictly controlled conditions according to Article 18(4) of REACH Regulation. Rigorous containment should be achieved.

Exposure controls/personal protection:

The substance is used under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18 (4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates. The substance should be rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies should be in place in order to minimize emissions and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4). Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used in cases of accidents and where waste is generated. The PPE may be also used as a good practice.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures:Ensure ventilation during use to keep airbone concentrations below the permissible exposure limits. Use process enclosure, local exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to control airbone levels.
2. Hand protection:Wear chemical-resistant gloves.
3. Feet protection:Wear protective chemical resistant boots.
4. Body protection: Wear protective clothing. After contact with skin, wash immediately.
5. Eye protection:Wear Protective safety goggles.
6. Respiratory protection: Dust mask.

Stability and reactivity

Stability: Stable under normal temperatures and pressures.
Incompatibilities:Strong oxidizing agents, Strong acids and bases
Hazard Decomposition Products: carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen chloride, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, irritating and toxic fumes and gases.
Condition to avoid or hazardous polymerization: Incompatible materials, strong oxidant.
Hazardous depolymerization: Has not beenr eproted.
Materials conditions to avoid incompatibility: Packed i9n container line with double polyethylene bags and covered. Stored in a cool , dry place. Keep container closed when not in use.

Disposal considerations

Dispose of in a manner consistent with federal, state and local regulations.
