Description of key information

The substance is stable to hydrolysis at environmentally relevant temperatures and pH's i.e. half life of greater than 1 year.

Additional information

A screening study was conducted in accordance with OECD 111. A solution of ca 0.49 mg/ml trimethylolpropane diallyl ether (TMPDE) was stored at 50°C for 5 days. The amount of TMPDE recovered was greater than 90% at pH 4, 7 and 9 indicating that the substance is stable to hydrolysis at environmentally relevant temperatures and pH's i.e. half life of greater than 1 year.
