Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex VII this study does not need to be conducted if there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule. Based on a structural assessment of the substance, the examination of the structure indicates that there are no groups associated with explosive properties as specified by the ECHA guidance document. Therefore, negative results can be predicted and no testing for explosive properties has been carried out. Furthermore, Appendix 6 of the Manual of Tests and Criteria, 5th revised edition 2010, states that the classification procedures for self reactive substances need not to be applied if there are no chemical groups present in the molecule associated with explosive or self-reactive properties; examples of such groups are given in tables A6.1 and A6.2. The test item does not contain any of these groups.
