Results and discussion

Details on results:
After 72 hours, rats exposed to enteric administration of 0.25 and 0.75 the LD50 of 1,3-dichlorobut-2-ene and loading with water (2.5% of body weight) showed above normal diuresis. The biochemical data as well as histopathological observations indicated renal tubular damage. The necrotic nephrosis is apparently due to the inhibition of renal tubular SH-group containing enzymes.
