Description of key information

The test item could not be ignited when a flame was applied as an ignition source for at least 2 minutes. The test item melted. The substance is not classified as a highly flammable solid according to Directive 67/548/EEC, nor as a readily combustible solid in class 4.1 according to the UN Transport Regulation and nor as a flammable solid according to GHS / CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008 Annex 1: 2.7.

The test was conducted according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008, Part A, A.10., UN Transport Regulation (Class 4, Division 4.1) and GHS / CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008 (Annex 1: 2.7), respectively (Smeykal 2015).The study is considered reliable and relevant for use for this endpoint
