Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance does not have bioaccumulation potential.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

An expert evaluation on the basis of available physicochemical, environmental fate and toxicity data was performed for the biaccumulation potential of the test substance. The physicochemical properties indicated poor absorption and poor bioavailabilty. Based on low log Pow (<-2), the test substance is estimated to have poor biaccumulation. In addition, it is not stable at a pH of 7 and therefore hydrolyzes to even more hydrophilic metabolites. These very hydrophilic compounds with a log Pow below -2 are more rapidly excreted in aquatic species than absorbed. Neither the toxicokinetic assessment of testing in mammalian species, nor the BCF/BAF calculation revealed any bioaccumulative properties of the test substance. Hence it is concluded that the test substance does not have bioaccumulation potential.
