Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Short-term EC50 or LC50 for soil macroorganisms:

Additional information

The toxicity of test substance to earthworms was tested in an artificial soil system according to the OECD guideline 207. This study tested concentrations in the range from 62.5 to 1000 mg/kg. The test article proved to be nontoxic to earthworms up to a concentration in the soil (dry weight basis) of 1000 mg/kg. Therefore, the LC50 was >1000 mg/kg, and the LC0 1000 mg/kg soil.

In comparison to the control group, no statistically significant inhibitory effect on the average body weight of worms was observed at the lowest concentration of 62.5 mg/kg. At test concentrations of 125, 250, 500 and 1000 mg/kg the average loss in body weight was, in comparison to the body weight loss of the control animals, lower to a statistically significant degree.
