Several reliable literature sources reported the water solubility of 1-dioxane to be between > 800 g/l at 25 °C and as completely miscible at 20°C. The Syracuse Research Coperation, Physical Properties Database reported the water solubility to be 1000 g/l at 20 °C based on experimental data, REAXYS described the substance to be mutual soluble in water at 25 °C and the GESTIS - Substance database described it as entirely mixable at 20 °C. The Handbook of Aqueous Solubility Data reported the water solubility to be > 800 g/l at 25 °C. They are all peer reviewed and authoritative secondary sources and regarded to be reliable for 1-dioxane. The value from the Syracuse Research Coperation, Physical Properties Database was chosen as key parameter for the water solubility.
