Biodegradation testing is not applicable to an inorganic substance.

According to column 2 of Annex VII of REACH, biodegradation testing is not applicable to an inorganic substance.

As a consequence of the inorganic nature of the substance, biodegradation test cannot be performed. Degradation occurs through an abiotic pathway, such as hydrolysis, affording fluoride and sodium ions, which do not undergo biodegradation.
