Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test item is an inorganic substance that is not soluble in water (< 0.1 mg/L). Therefore it was not possible to determine the water solubility of the complete test item. Instead of the solubility of the test item in the water extracts, the concentrations of the ions (potassium, magnesium and aluminium) in the water extracts of the test item were determined in this study using ICP-OES method.
At 20°C and a pH value of 7.9, the magnesium concentration was < 0.05 mg/L, the aluminium concentration was < 0.05 mg/L, and the potassium concentration was < 0.026 mg/L. As the potassium concentration in the blank value is in the same range as in the experiment, it is concluded, that the detected potassium concentration results from the used water and not from the test item.
