Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No toxic effects occur at the range of solubility. With high probability chronically not harmful to aquatic invertebrates

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

To investigate the long-term toxicity on aquatic invertebrates a semi-static test according to OECD 211 and GLP including analytical monitoring was conducted using Daphnia magna (IBACON GmbH 2010). To guarantee that the test item was tested up to the maximum solubility in the test medium radiolabeled test substance was used and analytically verified. Additionally, due to the very low water solubility DMF was used as solvent.

No toxic effects occur up to the solubility limit. The survival rate and the reproduction rate of the adult test animals were not significantly reduced up to the highest test concentration. Therefore, the substance is with high probability chronically not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
