Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eyes:
With eye held open, thoroughly rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Consult a physician.
Skin:
Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash of immediately with soap and plenty of water. Consult a physician.
Ingestion (Swallowing):
Rinse mouth. If conscious, drink plenty of water. Consult a physician. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice.
Inhalation:
Move to fresh air. Consult a physician after significant exposure.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media:
Foam, water spray, carbon dioxide, quenching powder
Fire Fighting Procedures:
Keep people away. Isolate fire and deny unnecessary entry.
Special Protective Equipment for Fire Fighters:
Wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and protective fire fighting clothing (includes fire fighting helmet, coat, pants, boots, and gloves).
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards:
Dense smoke is emitted when burned without sufficient oxygen.
Hazardous Combustion Products:
In the case of fire, the following hazardous smoke fumes may be produced: Sulphur oxides, Carbon oxides, silica
Accidental release measures
Steps To Be Taken If Material Is Released OR Spilled:
Absorb with liquid-binding material (e.g. Kieselgur, acid neutralizer, universal binder) pick up. Fill into marked, sealable containers. To be disposed of in compliance with existing regulations.
Personal Precautions:
Use appropriate safety equipment. For additional information, refer to Section 8, Exposure Controls/Personal Protection.
Environmental Precautions:
Prevent from entering into soil, ditches, sewers, waterways and or groundwater. See Section 12, Ecological Information.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practices.
Provide sufficient ventilation and exhaust at the workplace.
Always close container tightly after removal of product. Do not breathe in vapours, aerosols, sprays. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Wash contact areas after handling.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Take measures to prevent the build up of electrical charge.
Storage:
Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Incompatible with strong acids and bases. Keep away from oxidizing agents.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure Limits/Guidelines:
No substance-specific limiting value being known.
Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
Eye/Face:
Tightly fitting safety goggles
Skin Protection:
Protective suit ; use protective gloves (e.g. butyl rubber : Butoject 898, Kächle-Cama Latex GmbH Deutschland)
Respiratory Protection:
If occurs of vapour / respirable aerosols : use respiratory equipment with suitable filter (ABEK)
Engineering Controls (ventilation):
Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.
Stability and reactivity
Stability:
No decomposition if used as directed.
Conditions to Avoid:
Temperature > 40°C, direct sunlight, wetness
Incompatibility with Other Materials:
Materials to avoid: water, atmospheric humidity, strong oxidizing agents, strong bases, strong acids
Thermal Decomposition:
> 180°C ; can be distilled at reduced pressure
Hazardous Polymerization:
No decomposition if used as directed.
Disposal considerations
Product
In compliance with actual waste regulations, the product must be brought to a suitable disposal plant.
Uncleaned packaging
Packaging, that can not be reused after cleaning must be disposed or recycled in accordance with all federal, national an local regulation.
