Description of key information

In a study performed according to a modified version of OECD 106 (batch equilibrium approach), n-butylamine was determined to have a very low potential for adsorption (geometric mean Koc: 43.2 L/kg) in three very different soils (2 soils, one sediment) with regard to pH, organic carbon content, sand, silt and clay content.

No data on Henry's law constant are available. Based on high water solubility and essentially full ionisation at environmentally relevant pH (pKa 10.8 for alkaline functional group), volatility from water and moist soil will be very low. No other data are available.
