Median diameter = 538 µm
0% < 10µm (thoracic fraction), less than 7% < 100µm (inhalable fraction)

A reliable study, performed with laser diffraction technique, provided detailed results on the particle size distribution of the powder.
Two internal sieving tests, despite not assignable, were fully consistent for the threshold sizes of 10 and 100 µm relevant for inhalation exposure.
