Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test item N,N-Dimethyldipropylentriamine to Danio rerio (freshwater fish) for a duration of 96h was assessed according to the OECD guideline 203 and GLP requirements (Gancet, 2009). Fish were exposed under static conditions to 100 mg/L of DMAPAPA dissolved in dilution water (limit test). The concentration of the test substance was maintained during the test period and validity criteria were fulfilled. Based on the test results the 96h LC50 of DMAPAPA for Danio rerio was determined to be higher than 100 mg test item/L based on nominal concentrations. Another acute fish toxicity test has been performed to Leuscisus idus according to German industrial standard test guideline DIN 38412 part 15 (BASF, 1991). LC50 -96h was determined to be 215 mg/L.
