Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Additional information

5.1.1 Hydrolysis

The substance was considered to be stable at 50 °C for pH-value 7. Therefore it can be assumed that the test item is also stable at 25 °C and no half-life times and hydrolysis rates were calculated. For pH 4 and pH 9 abiotic degradation of the test item was observed. Therefore the substance is considered to be hydrolytically unstable at 50°C for pH values 4 and 9.

5.2.1 Biodegradation in water: screening tests

The test substance showed only 60 % biodegradation after 28 days and therefore has to be classified as "Not Readily Biodegradable". In another test the test substance showed 68 % degradation according OECD guideline 302 D and therefore to be classified as "Not Inherent Biodegradable".

5.3.1 Bioaccumulation: aquatic / sediment:

In accordance with REACH Regulation, Annex IX, column 2, the study does not need to be conducted as the subsance has a low potential for bioaccumulation based on a weighted log Kof of 1.0 (range 0.9 - 1.9).

5.4.1 Adsorption / desorption

An adsorption coefficient (log Koc) was estimated to be <= -0.7 at pH 6.

The value is corresponding to the area weighed logKoc for all peaks of the test item
